Protica Nutritional Research

Protica is a nutraceutical research company headquartered in Whitehall, PA. Our core business is centered around the research and development of nutritional products. Leveraging diverse technologies, we are uniquely equipped to develop products representing significant advances in nutrition.

Founded in 2001, Protica is the first company to develop and market a compact liquid protein product in a ready-to-drink format. Our first product, trademarked Profect®, was initially produced in a 1,000 square foot facility in Conshohocken, PA. In 2006, Protica moved into a larger, 23,000 square foot property, which allowed the company to expand its manufacturing to include private labeled products for other companies. In 2008, Protica purchased a 13 acre dairy plant campus with 250,000 square feet of production and warehousing in Whitehall, PA. The former dairy plant is home to Protica's manufacturing, logistics, research and development activities, where more than 100 different products are produced.
